Chef Taylor Montgomery
Established in 2018 by James Beard–nominated Chef Taylor Montgomery and his wife, Fran, the farm was created as a place where land, food, and care are deeply connected, bringing together regenerative agriculture, intimate dining, and animal rescue in a way that is both thoughtful and enduring.
With more than 25 years in the culinary world, Chef Taylor approaches farming with the same intention he brings to the kitchen. His background in fine dining, paired with a deep respect for the land, informs everything grown here, from heirloom produce to the preservation of rare and endangered seed varieties that support biodiversity and long-term soil health.
Fran Montgomery
Fran brings over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine to the heart of the farm. Her leadership and compassion guide the animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts at Final Run Rescue, their onsite 501(c)3 nonprofit. Here, they provide neglected and abused animals with the care, safety, and permanence they deserve.
What started as a shared vision has evolved into a way of life; one rooted in responsibility, curiosity, and care for animals, soil, and community.
The Montgomery's believe in moving forward with intention, staying open to growth, and honoring the journey along the way, as Taylor always says, Just Keep Pushing.
