Our Farm


Tucked in the quiet valley of Turkey creek, surrounded by the mountains of Western North Carolina, lies Montgomery Sky Farm, owned by Executive Chef, Taylor Montgomery and his wife Fran. MSF is a 50-acre farm, focused on large-scale vegetable production, sustainable farming, preservation breeding and animal rescue. It was also the first farm in the Southeastern United States to welcome purebred Valais Blacknose sheep. Six years ago, we began this journey and have enjoyed sharing its evolution with the surrounding communities of Asheville and Greenville, S.C, who without their support, none of this would be possible. We are excited about growth in the future and "we believe in life you have to keep pushing, because the sky is limitless.




We focus on sustainable farming practices and heirloom produce production, available in the Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC surrounding areas seasonally.

Want to make your visit to MSF extra special? Book your next anniversary, birthday, or celebratory experience with us! Executive Chef Taylor Montgomery, owner and operator at MSF, is pleased to offer our special farm venue and intimate space for small weddings, parties, farm tours, photo shoots, private luncheons, dinners and corporate outings. With 25+ years of Culinary experience and a focus on sustainable farming, our menus are curated with precision and attention to seasonality of the produce we are growing (dietary restrictions happily accommodated). We are a working farm with a non-profit animal rescue on property, all events and tours are by appointment only.

This can be coordinated as an add on to your farm tour, as a corporate retreat, holiday party, or group outing for up to 65 people.
